- There are few stories that inspire like this one. The breadth & depth of this one man's life and his impact in Africa will live on for many generations. It is well told with care to document all that was accomplished while making this amazing doctor real and made me wish I had known him. It is a great blessing to thousands that this man lived and chose to serve and love these people, and very clear he always gave God credit for it all. Thank you for telling this remarkable story!
- Wow! What an amazing story about an amazing ministry and an amazing man of God! You have got to read this book. Today, Tenwek Hospital in Kenya, Africa is a top-notch hospital, helping to relieve the suffering of thousands of Kenyans. There are some pretty wonderful stories in this book. Some will bring tears to your eyes, and others will have you truly laughing. You will thank God for the main character in this book, Dr. Steury, although he would say, 'no - it was all God. We treat, God heals.'
- Of interest to me because one of my doctor's here in CO. has done missionary work at this hospital on two occasions over the years. Haven't finished reading the book yet, but i've enjoyed what I've read so far.

- You don't even have to be a christian to love this book. This book is absolutely soul inspiring. I have friends working at Tenwek now who recommended it, I had never even heard of the place. It's so incredible to see how this hospital began and how one man inspired so many to make it what it is today. Fabulous read!
